10am – 12.30pm or 2pm – 4.30pm
Capture the abundant flora of Summer at How Hill in this experimental printmaking workshop with artist Tara Sampy. All materials and refreshments are provided.
This is a creative hands on workshop full of discovery, surprises and exploration where you get to make and take home your own set of gorgeous hand-printed works of art.
Monoprinting is great fun and really absorbing. Each print is unique and works simply by transferring ink from one surface (plate) to another (print). Working with the sensitive textures and shapes of plants, you’ll enjoy experimenting with the endless possibilities of this medium.
Over the session you will explore a variety of techniques using layers, textures, stencil masks and colour combinations. Come along and lose yourself in this engaging process, and go home with some truly amazing results.
All welcome – No experience needed – just bring an apron!
The price includes all materials, exclusive use of How Hill house and gardens and all the tea and biscuits you could ever want. The tearoom will be open from 11am – 4pm, or you are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch.
