Ways you can help our work

We rely on a mix of fees and public generosity to keep running. You can help generate funds to fuel our mission by booking a course or event, making a donation, joining our Friends, thinking of us in a will and even while you are shopping online!

Donations

Donations are always welcome to help fund the work of How Hill. We encourage people using the car park and enjoying the gardens to show their appreciation via QR and text links around the grounds.

Friends of How Hill

Friends of How Hill

The Friends is an independent charity which supports the work of the How Hill Trust by organising fundraising events.

It has raised thousands of pounds which buy items on the How Hill shopping list ranging from lifejackets and staff wet weather clothes to helping fund replacement boardwalks and site signage.

Their main fundraisers are outdoor summer drama productions staged in the grounds.

To see upcoming Friends fundraising events please see our events page.

New members are always very welcome. Annual membership entitles you to attend exclusive Friends events and receive regular newsletters keeping you in touch with what is happening at How Hill.

Your support helps fund:
